Welcome to Heather Class

Heather Class has 26 Year 2 children who are supported in their learning by Miss Brown, Miss Fiddler, Mrs Manson and Mrs Croft.

In Heather Class, children learn through exciting and often practical activities, many of which are linked to our half-termly topics. There are also lots of opportunities for discussion to help develop vocabulary, communication skills and confidence.

The children enjoy taking part in their PE sessions on Tuesday and Friday and love exploring and learning in our forest area through a range of outdoor activities. Story time and drama activities are also very popular.

Welcome to Bramble Class

There are currently 28 children in Bramble Class.

Miss Newton, Mrs Shaw and Miss Whittle support the children in Bramble Class and are committed to providing a creative curriculum that allows children to explore exciting, stimulating and engaging learning opportunities. This ensures children enjoy a fun approach to learning with plenty of hands-on and practical experiences.

Bramble Class has PE every Tuesday and Thursday, so children should come to school in their PE kits on these days.

In the summer, children may wish to come to school in shorts and a T-shirt, with a light jacket in case the weather changes. During the colder months, children should wear warm clothing, including coats, hats, scarves and gloves, as we aim to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Children should always wear suitable footwear, such as trainers.
