Here's what's happening in school this week:

Monday 16 March - The eggs are due in school this week ready for hatching!!

Monday 16 March - 3-4 pm - Gardening Club with Miss Allen (week 3 of 4)

Tuesday 17 March - 1.30 pm - Ivy and Bluebell Parents are invited into school for a Craft Session with their child

Tuesday 17 March - 3-4 pm - Multi-Skills After School Club with Mr Hill (week 4 of 5)

Wednesday 18 March - 10 am - Acorn Parents are invited into school for an Easter Craft Session with their child (you can attend the morning or afternoon session)

Wednesday 18 March - 1.30 pm - Acorn Parents are invited into school for an Easter Craft Session with their child (you can attend the morning or afternoon session)

Wednesday 18 March - NO OUTDOOR CLUB TODAY WITH MRS MATHER

Thursday 19 March - 1.30 pm - Dandelion, Heather and Bramble Parents are invited into school for a Craft Session with their child

Thursday 19 March - 3-4 pm - Dodgeball with Mr Hill (week 4 of 5)

Friday 20 March -  Red Nose Day (Red noses available from the school office at £2 each) - wear something red to school

Friday 20 March -  9.30 am - Bramble Class carbon monoxide workshop

Friday 20 March -  1.00 pm - Heather Class carbon monoxide workshop

Easter Parade

Can you make an Easter Basket or Bonnet with your child at home ready to bring into school on Monday 23 March for the children to take part in an Easter Parade.  Year 2 will keep their bonnets and baskets at school until 27th March when they will take them to Pheasant Bank Academy for a chance of winning a prize.

Easter Raffle

Don't forget to return your sold raffle tickets back to school to be in with a chance of winning a fabulous prize on Wednesday 25 March.  We have a gigantic Thornton's Easter Egg donated by Rossington Tigers for you to win as well as 1 month of free drama classes with Doncaster Drama Academy and lots of yummy eggs donated by our school community.  Good luck to everyone who purchases tickets.  If you need more tickets just pop to the school office and they will provide you with some.

World Book Day

Thank you for your support on World Book Day.  As you will have probably seen on Facebook, we had some fantastic costumes and we hope everyone had lots of fun on the day.  Some of these photographs were also sent to Doncaster Free Press for inclusion in their Special Edition dated 19 March and will be on sale until Wednesday 25 March.  Copies will be available in local retail outlets on the day of publication at £2 a copy.

Mrs Shaw's Sky Dive - happening this weekend - Saturday 14 March 2026!!!

Help Available - Gas & Electric:

Unity in Community will be providing vouchers to help towards paying for gas and electricity. To qualify you must pay for your energy through a prepayment meter and have not received energy vouchers from Unity in Community within the past 12 months. This is in response to the ongoing cost of living crisis and beneficiaries can be working, unemployed, self-employed or retired. For more information and to register, call 01482 420836, Monday to Friday, 9am – 3pm – if busy, please keep trying. 

Attendance

Congratulations to Ivy class who had the highest attendance this week with 96.4%.
